On Wednesday, March 26, former Headland High School standout Tyson Kirkland’s current college team, the Columbus State Cougars, won 8-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Auburn Montgomery Warhawks.

The game took place at Burger King Stadium at Ragsdale Field. This was their second matchup against the Warhawks this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 6 p.m. at Richard Gray Sports Complex against USC Beaufort Sand Sharks.
