On Wednesday, April 9, former Headland High School standout Tanner Taylor’s current college team, the West Florida Argonauts, won 12-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Columbus State Cougars.

The game took place at Jim Spooner Field. This was their second matchup against the Cougars this season.

The Argonauts’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 5 p.m. at Jim Spooner Field against West Alabama Tigers.

True freshman Constanza Quiroga led the Troy Trojans women’s golf team in the final round of The Ally at Old Waverly Golf Club in West Point, Mississippi, finishing tied for 23rd place after shooting a 2-over 74.
