On Tuesday, March 18, former Headland High School standout Tyson Kirkland’s current college team, the Columbus State Cougars, lost 10-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Valdosta State Blazers.
The game took place at Billy Grant Field. This was their second matchup against the Blazers this season.
The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 6 p.m. at Burger King Stadium at Ragsdale Field against USC Aiken Pacers.
Freshman golfer Constanza Quiroga led the Troy Trojans in the second round of The Ally, held at The Old Waverly Golf Club and hosted by Mississippi State.
True freshman Constanza Quiroga led the Troy Trojans women’s golf team in the final round of The Ally at Old Waverly Golf Club in West Point, Mississippi, finishing tied for 23rd place after shooting a 2-over 74.
Troy University’s women’s volleyball team is set to host Arkansas State for two Sun Belt Conference matches at Trojan Arena.
