On Saturday, Feb. 15, former Headland High School standout Tyson Kirkland’s current college team, the Columbus State Cougars, lost 7-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Barry Buccaneers.
The game took place at Feinbloom Field. This was their first matchup against the Buccaneers this season.
The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15 at 4:25 p.m. at Feinbloom Field against Barry Buccaneers.
Freshman golfer Constanza Quiroga led the Troy Trojans in the second round of The Ally, held at The Old Waverly Golf Club and hosted by Mississippi State.
True freshman Constanza Quiroga led the Troy Trojans women’s golf team in the final round of The Ally at Old Waverly Golf Club in West Point, Mississippi, finishing tied for 23rd place after shooting a 2-over 74.
Troy University’s women’s volleyball team is set to host Arkansas State for two Sun Belt Conference matches at Trojan Arena.
