Troy, Alabama – The Troy women’s tennis team is set to face Kennesaw State in a midweek match at the Lunsford Tennis Complex. This comes after the Trojans split their two matches in Florida last week.
Last Thursday, Troy secured a 6-1 victory over Florida A&M. In another match against Florida, several Trojan players competed against ranked opponents. Maria Guirguis played No. 48 Valery Gynina and took six games before the match was left unfinished at 6-2, 5-4.
Kennesaw State arrives with an 0-3 record after losing 5-2 to App State. Earlier, the Owls traveled to Bloomington, Indiana, for matches against the Hoosiers and DePaul Blue Demons. Their scheduled contests with Virginia Tech, UNC Greensboro, and Georgia Southern have been postponed.
The upcoming match will take place on Wednesday, February 18 at 1:00 p.m. Fans can follow live streaming at http://gotroy.us/v1f and live stats at http://gotroy.us/0sh.
