The Sun Belt Conference has released the 2025-26 men’s basketball schedule for Troy University. The announcement follows a successful season in which the Trojans won both the Sun Belt Championship and the regular season title, their first since 2016-17.
Troy finished last season with a 13-5 record in conference play. The team will begin its new conference slate with three consecutive home games at Trojan Arena, starting against Marshall on December 20. After the Sun Belt holiday break, Troy will host Texas State on New Year’s Eve and face South Alabama on January 3.
The Trojans are scheduled to play Arkansas State on January 7 in a rematch of last year’s championship game, followed by an away game at Louisiana on January 10. They return home to take on Southern Miss (January 14) and Arkansas State (January 17).
A two-game road trip is set against Old Dominion (January 21) and Georgia Southern (January 24). James Madison (January 29) and Appalachian State (January 31) will visit Trojan Arena as part of the continuing conference schedule.
Troy’s longest road stretch begins in February, with games at Georgia State (February 4), Texas State (February 11), Southern Miss (February 14), ULM (February 18), and South Alabama (February 21). The team will briefly return home for a MAC-SBC Challenge game on February 7; the opponent for this matchup has not yet been announced.
The regular season concludes with home games against Louisiana on February 24 and ULM on February 27.
The Sun Belt Basketball Championship is scheduled for March 3–9, once again taking place at the Bay Center in Pensacola, Florida. This marks the sixth year in a row that Pensacola will host the tournament.
“Troy also captured the Sun Belt regular season title last year, finishing 13-5 in league play,” according to the release.
