On Friday, May 23, former Headland High School standout Tanner Taylor’s current collegiate team the West Florida Argonauts lost 4-9 against the Tampa Spartans in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

The game took place at UT Baseball Field at 12 p.m. and was the second matchup against the Tampa Spartans in the tournament.

The West Florida Argonauts’ next game will take place on Friday, May 23 at 12 p.m. at UT Baseball Field.

True freshman Constanza Quiroga led the Troy Trojans women’s golf team in the final round of The Ally at Old Waverly Golf Club in West Point, Mississippi, finishing tied for 23rd place after shooting a 2-over 74.
