Coffee County’s nine coaches earned an average salary of $22,561 in 2022, according to the U.S. Department of Education.

This is the eighth lowest average salary per county earned by coaches at Alabama post-secondary schools during 2022.

Coffee County is home to just one post-secondary school which paid coaches during 2022.

Male coaches of men's teams received $22,830 on average in Coffee County, while female coaches in charge of women's teams earned an average of $22,346.

Research from the Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management found NCAA coaches are compensated like CEOs, with top coaches earning more than $1.5 million annually.
