U.S. Army Aeromedical Science Center and Research Laboratory of Fort Rucker Has Donated Equipment to Be Used During STEM and Computer Science Instruction

AMAZING things are happening for our students in the area of STEM and Computer Science!

The U.S. Army Aeromedical Science Center and Research Laboratory of Fort Rucker has donated equipment to be used during STEM and Computer Science instruction. Curriculum and Instruction Director, Mr. Jimmy Holcomb met with Dr. Loraine St. Onge, the Research Administration Manager, to tour the facilities and receive the donated items.

Barbour County Schools and USAASC are now exploring pathways for continued partnership, student field trips to Fort Rucker, and participation of our students in the annual summer GEMS program. Our goal is to not only expose our STEM but introduce them to the limitless career possibilities that await them after graduation.
