While attending the Alabama Conference of the National Agriculture in the Classroom program in Opelika this week, two of our teachers had the opportunity to meet Dr. Eric Mackey, State Superintendent of Alabama Public Schools. Alabama Agriculture in the Classroom (AITC) is an interdisciplinary educational program that promotes Ag literacy for students in all grade levels K-12.
