City of Elba issued the following announcement on Dec. 28.
Public Notice:
The City of Elba Offices will be closed on Friday, January 1, 2021 in observance of New Year’s Day.
Standby crews will be on call to assist with any utility emergencies. If you experience an utility emergency during this time, please call the Elba Police Department at (334) 897-2555. Please do not call 911 to report utility emergency as this line should be reserved for life-threatening emergencies only.
The garbage truck will run its normal schedule.
