Henry County had two gas stations selling diesel gas at the lowest price of $3.48 per gallon during the week ending Jan. 3, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
Of the 15 reported gas stations in cities within Henry County, two offered diesel gas.
Across Alabama, the average reported price for a gallon of diesel gas fell to $3.26, compared to the week before.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
