On Friday, March 14, former Rehobeth High School standout Makayla Peters’ current college team, the Southern Miss Golden Eagles, lost 4-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Georgia Southern Eagles.
The game took place at Eagle Field. This was their first matchup against the Eagles this season.
The Golden Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 15 at 3 p.m. at Eagle Field against Georgia Southern Eagles.
Freshman golfer Constanza Quiroga led the Troy Trojans in the second round of The Ally, held at The Old Waverly Golf Club and hosted by Mississippi State.
True freshman Constanza Quiroga led the Troy Trojans women’s golf team in the final round of The Ally at Old Waverly Golf Club in West Point, Mississippi, finishing tied for 23rd place after shooting a 2-over 74.
Troy University’s women’s volleyball team is set to host Arkansas State for two Sun Belt Conference matches at Trojan Arena.
