On Saturday, March 22, former Ariton High School standout Nash Evans’ current college team, the LaGrange Panthers, won 9-8 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Covenant Scots.
The game took place at Cleaveland Field. This was their third matchup against the Scots this season.
The Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 1 p.m. at Gary Wright Field at Fishman Park against Centre Colonels.
Freshman golfer Constanza Quiroga led the Troy Trojans in the second round of The Ally, held at The Old Waverly Golf Club and hosted by Mississippi State.
True freshman Constanza Quiroga led the Troy Trojans women’s golf team in the final round of The Ally at Old Waverly Golf Club in West Point, Mississippi, finishing tied for 23rd place after shooting a 2-over 74.
Troy University’s women’s volleyball team is set to host Arkansas State for two Sun Belt Conference matches at Trojan Arena.
