Troy, Ala. – Adam Falinski, a right-handed pitcher from Troy University, has signed an undrafted free agent contract with the Minnesota Twins following the MLB Draft’s conclusion on Monday.
“First and foremost, Adam is one of the greatest kids I have had the fortune of coaching,” said Troy head coach Skylar Meade. “It is exciting that he will be valued and have a chance to progress fast in such a quality organization like the Twins. Adam has a special arm, and the sky is the limit for his future.”
Falinski becomes the fourth member of the 2025 Trojans team to secure a professional opportunity. He joins draft picks Brooks Bryan (8th round – Royals), Noah Edders (15th round – Cubs), and Jay Dill (18th round – Athletics).
This season, Falinski transferred to Troy from Eastern Michigan and made 18 appearances with seven starts, achieving 46 strikeouts in 46.1 innings for the Trojans in 2025. Notably, he pitched 3.2 innings without allowing an earned run against No. 25 Auburn and struck out six batters over four innings during Troy’s victory at No. 15 Mississippi State.
In two of his strongest performances late in the season, Falinski pitched four hitless innings in relief against No. 19 Southern Miss before starting in Troy’s Sun Belt Tournament win over Texas State where he struck out seven across 5.2 innings while conceding only three hits and two runs.
