Troy Track and Field athlete Aaliyah Murphy participated in the 400-meter hurdles at the 2025 USATF U20 Championships in Eugene, Oregon. Competing on Thursday night, Murphy recorded a time of 1:01.13, which is her third-best performance in this event. This timing placed her 13th overall across two heats, just missing out on qualifying for the finals.
Murphy, a freshman standout, had previously set a Troy program record in the 400-meter hurdles earlier this season with a time of 59.94 at the Doc Anderson Invitational. She also achieved a runner-up finish at the Sun Belt Conference Outdoor Championships with a time of 1:00.49, marking an impressive debut season.
